The usual parking lot expansion is comprised of a structural system made up of asphalt and stone that varies in depth. The recent trend in governmental oversight of new lots has been to provide regulations for the configuration and spacing of parking lots as well as landscaping, drainage and pollution abatement issues. We start the process of determining your needs by exploring the existing and future conditions of the proposed parking lot area. How much traffic will the lot see? FINE GRADE & PAVE
Ensure a smooth transition.
Many projects that Thomann Asphalt takes on range from the subgrade level and up. In these cases we are able to step in, fine grade, set the stone base and prepare the surface for paving.Proper fine grading of the stone sub-base relies on thorough knowledge of parking lot paving. An improperly graded stone base can be devastating to the paving operation. Thomann guarantees that the two processes are performed in conjunction, preventing too much or too little blacktop from being laid down.
